How to Add an Email to Your Safe Sender List
To ensure you receive important emails from MEMSEd, including password resets and course notifications, we recommend adding our email address, noreply@learningportal.memsed.org, to your safe sender list (sometimes called a "whitelist" or "allowlist"). This tells your email provider that you trust messages from us and helps prevent them from going to your junk or spam folder.
Here are instructions for some of the most common email providers.
Gmail
The easiest way to whitelist an email is to find it in your spam folder and mark it as safe.

Check your Spam Folder: If you find an email from
noreply@learningportal.memsed.org
in your Spam folder, open it. -
Mark as Not Spam: Click the "Report not spam" or "Looks safe" button at the top of the email.
For a more permanent solution, you can create a filter:

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and select "See all settings."

Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.

Click "Create a new filter."

In the "From" field, enter
noreply@learningportal.memsed.org

Click "Create filter."

Check the box for "Never send it to Spam."

Click "Create filter" again to save.
Outlook (including Hotmail and Live.com)

Log in to Outlook.com.

Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner, then click "View all Outlook settings."

Select "Mail" and then "Junk email."

Under the "Safe senders and domains" section, click "+Add."

Enter
noreply@learningportal.memsed.org
and press Enter on your keyboard. -
Click "Save."
Yahoo Mail

Click the gear icon (Settings) and then "More Settings."

Choose "Filters" from the left-hand menu.

Click "+Add new filters."

Give your filter a name, such as "MEMSEd."

Under "Set rules," select "From," then "contains," and enter
noreply@learningportal.memsed.org
in the text box. -
Under "Choose a folder to move to," select "Inbox."

Click "Save."
Other Email Providers
If your email provider is not listed above, the process is usually similar. We recommend searching online for "how to add a safe sender in [Your Email Provider's Name]" for specific instructions. Adding noreply@learningportal.memsed.org
